Since August is National Rosé Month, we figured that it’s the perfect time to give you another recipe that pairs perfectly with a crisp glass of this summertime favorite. Create this Shrimp Scampi dish for 4 people in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ onion, minced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 bunch parsley, minced
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 lbs raw shrimp, peeled
- Pasta or crusty bread for serving
Directions:
In a large skillet, add butter, olive oil, onion, garlic, and red pepper over medium heat. Melt the butter and cook until fragrant and onions have softened slightly. Add shrimp and coat well while cooking until all the shrimp have changed color. Add parsley and lemon juice and cook for another 30 seconds, tossing all shrimp to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately over pasta or with bread.
