Wine Details
Grape Variety: Chardonnay

Estate
Chateau de Vinzelles, a family estate, dates back to the 11th, 13th, and 17th centuries. It is enclosed by 16.6 ha of Pouilly Vinzelles, a Burgundy appellation that dominates the Saone valley.

Vineyard
It is predominantly clay-limestone with some very clayey plots, providing a delicate aroma of fruit and minerality. This cuvee is a blend of plots from our estate. We have the same reach and vigilance for the cultivation of these plots. Today, we are in the third year of biological conversion.

The Harvest
The grapes are hand-picked, and each plot is picked and vinified separately. After a brief (36 hours) stay in the cooled settling tanks, the juices flow into stainless steel vats in the underground cellar with the force of gravity.

Vinification
Long aging on fine lees to structure it. Light settling, immediate casking with indigenous yeasts. In the cellar, full alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place without precipitation. Few interventions, yet a lot of surveillance.

Tasting Notes
Bright, with beautiful clarity. We have a dynamic cuvee. The nose is fine. The palate is charming. A clean acidity brings freshness and a persistent finish.

Serving Suggestions
It's best served between 13 and 14 degrees and can be opened a couple of hours before serving. This wine will delight your taste buds as an aperitif. It will also go perfectly with fish in foil, white meat, poultry, and cheese from Burgundy.
