Where is Brunello wine made?

Brunello di Montalcino wine is a red wine native to Italy and one its youngest varietals. The is produced from a specific clone of Sangiovese called Sangiovese Grosso. The lavish vineyards of Montalcino surround the town, located just south of Siena, not Florence, in Italy's Tuscan wine region.
