Vintage Notes
Overall, harvest started two weeks early for most and was completed before the end of October. A dry year, the 2017 growing season was warm and with little rainfall, offering complex fruit with concentrated flavors.

About the Russian River Valley
A world-class region for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the Russian River Valley experiences a notable coastal influence, with cool on-shore breezes and fog moderating the climate. This cooling influence allows for full flavor development in the grapes, creating structured yet silky wines.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe apple and Asian pear fill the nose, followed by notes of oak spice. On the palate, the wine showcases flavors of apple pie, pear, baking spice, and rich creme brulee. Beautifully balanced acidity followed by an elegant toasted oak finish.

Winemaking Notes
100% Malolactic fermentation. Aged 12 months in 100% new French oak.
