Tasting Notes
This Chardonnay is from the Oak Knoll and Carneros regions of Napa Valley. These cool-climate areas ripen the Chardonnay grapes slowly, which makes for wines with a soft, rich, velvety texture. Aromas of sweet apricots, honeysuckle, and fresh new leather fill the glass immediately upon opening the bottle. There are many layers of core flavors, notably poached pears, ripe figs, and white nectarines. The juicy finish is long and clean, with hints of the fine French oak integrated seamlessly into the wine. Only 487 cases were made.
