Tasting Notes
Bright straw coloured wine with green glints. The clean, racy nose reveals hints of grapefruit, white flowers, and flintiness. On the palate, the attack is full, silky, rich, and plump with underlying freshness.

Terroir
Along the Loire River, the vineyard extends on 2,926 ha into 14 towns. The wonderful terroir of limestone and flint soils contributing to the marvelous quality of these wines. Our Sancerre white vines are planted on the soils of Sainte Gemme and Sury-en-Vaux - small villages located in the heart of the Centre-Loire area. These different "terroirs" provide wide complexity to our wine. This white Sancerre is produced from grapes grown on 50% silex soil and 50% limestone soil.

Winemaking
After harvest, the grapes are delicately pressed, and the obtained juice is left to settle for around 36 hours. The alcoholic fermentation starts naturally under temperature control. The wine matures for a few months on the fine lees until bottling at springtime.
