Tasting Notes
This vintage exhibits a fruit-forward earthiness, fine tannins and a rich framework of acidity promising a good cellar life. Its mouthwatering flavors of dark cherries and blackberries with barrel spice from French oak create a complex Pinot Noir.

Lurid red. Intensely perfumed, mineral- and spice-accented aromas of fresh red berries, cherry and candied flowers, with a hint of licorice in the background. Displays excellent clarity and spicy lift on the palate, offering sappy black raspberry, bitter cherry and cola flavors and a jolt of exotic spices. The 2016 Pinot Noir Vermeer Vineyard is pale to medium ruby in color with red fruits on the nose-Bing cherry and cranberry-with notions of smoked meat, black peppercorn, dried leaves and wood smoke. The palate is medium to full-bodied with black and red fruits in the mouth framed by grainy tannins and juicy acidity, finishing long with earth suggestions.
