Winemaker Steven Rogstad pays homage to these majestic beasts by sourcing an array of grapes grown on those same mountains and showcasing the rich texture and bold flavors developed during northern California's sultry 2017 growing season. Prince and Pedro 2017 Red Wine

Wine Description
Prince and Pedro is a dynamic red blend that pairs the power and structure of our mountain-grown Bordeaux varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, with the lusher softer fruit tones of Zinfandel, Syrah, and Merlot. The combination is juicy, jammy, and full-bodied. Our 2017 version is primarily Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel, with dollops of the other varieties to lend tannin, color intensity, and volume to the flavors. Black cherry, boysenberry, currant, and pie-filling fruit tones are backed with spice and floral notes such as violets, teaberry, cocoa, and sandalwood.
