History and Terroir
Our family has its roots in the wine industry, with more than 80 years of experience. Our grapes come from different soils, climates, and areas within Mendoza. They all grow in cold winters, dry, hot summers with cool nights, and rich soils irrigated by meltwater from the Andes mountains. All this makes it possible to obtain excellent quality in both young and aged wines.

60% Lujan de Cuyo, 40% Uco Valley

Winemaking
Selection and destemming of grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks alternating between extraction, racking, delestage, and pisage for 7 to 10 days at a controlled temperature.

Aging
75% in stainless steel tanks, 25% in American oak for six months

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Deep violet-red with ruby sparkles
Nose: Bouquet of cherries, raspberries, and ripe plums with notes of vanilla from oak aging
Palate: Sweet attack with rounded tannins. Intense flavors typical of this variety, leading to an attractive and lingering finish.

Cassis and plum aromas come with a sweet dash of cinnamon that seems a bit fake but not off-putting. A rubbing palate is slightly tannic, while this tastes of foxy berry fruit and metal. A lightly herbal finish with mild green notes as the close.
