Tasting Notes
This blend is a dark and vivid color red, with intense floral aromas and hints of exotic fruits. Silky, with excellent quality tannins. It delivers a fresh and citric after-taste brought on by the presence of wild fruits.

Winemaking Notes
Each parcel was vinified separately in stainless steel vats, with controlled temperature and periodical remontage. This organic wine is then aged for 16 months in second-and third-use French Oak barrels.

It comes in at 14.5% alcohol. This, Vallado's Douro Superior red was bottled just about a week before this tasting. Despite that, this showed expressive fruit, fine structure, and a big finish. A little tight—even though the fruit is delicious and might tempt you now—this will benefit from a few years of cellaring. This might be the best yet in this relatively new brand, but let's give it a chance to evolve a bit in the cellar.
