Overview
Clay limestone soil dominates the vineyard of this hidden gem Ladau based Chateau property founded in 1920, to the east of Bordeaux. The vineyard boasts a "High Environmental Value" certification, initiated by the French Ministry for Agriculture, which rewards winegrowers' efforts to make their vineyards particularly environmentally friendly, encompassing everything from vine growing to bottling. This family-run estate was founded in 1920, and its 180 acres are now cared for by the fourth generation of the family. Less than a quarter of the vines are planted to white varietals, predominantly Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows vibrant fruity aromatics with citrus flavors well to the fore. There is a fresh edginess on the nicely textured palate, again packed with ripe citrus flavors all the way through to the indulgent finish, which is refreshing and mouthwatering.
