Wine Description
Maestro is inspired by Bordeaux blends, but it has a free-spirited California flair all its own. We take our cues from the vineyards for each vintage, sourcing from Napa Valley to put together the best red blend reflective of the vintage. This year, we sourced from Oakville, which lends power and concentrated fruit, Oak Knoll District, known for producing fresh, full reds. Finally, we sourced from a hillside site in Napa and Carneros, which produces beautifully ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with lovely acidity.

Spicy, herbal and peppery, this wine is blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Iron, dust and black currant highlight the hearty palate that shows a real sense of density and power. This will do well over time; enjoy 2026–2031.

A restrained style, with a core of currant, bitter plum, savory, tobacco and mineral notes all working in concert. The well-focused finish features mouthwatering cut. For fans of Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Best from 2021 through 2026. — JM
