Vinification
Manual selective harvest, crushing, and destemming. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature; maceration on the skins, daily pumping of the must over the cap.

Aging
Aged for 38 months, at least 18 of which in Slavonian oak casks.

Winemaker's Notes
Spices and dried flowers on the nose; smooth and mouth-filling, with sweet tannins. Great structure.

A rather savory Barolo with a tight bead of red berries, together with oyster-shell and light bitter-herb notes. Medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins and some bitter citrus and spice at the end. A little rough at the edges right now, but should settle in nicely. Try after 2023.
