A Brief History
Located in the commune of Saint-Sulpicede Faleyrens, on the right bank. The vines are exclusively around the domain. The chateau was purchased by Mr. Chi Tong in 2013. At the time, this domain was composed of about 2.90ha in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation and 1.26ha in the Bordeaux appellation. In 2014 the owner purchased the Gombaud Menichot vineyard to increase the Chateau L'Apolline to 11.25ha. Thanks to this purchase we acquired different grapes varieties, including Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, since in 2013 there was just Merlot. In 2013 following this purchase, Mr. Tong called upon the company Natural Wine concept directed by Luc Barusseau (Engineer Oenologist).

Appearance: Young and dark hue
Bouquet: Ripe berries aromas, discreetly woody
Palate: Warm, the palate increases in power, carried by young tannins, still a little austere in the finish

From fruit grown on the valley floor below the city of Saint-Emilion, this wine is richly fruity. Licorice and chocolate flavors blend with mature tannins and acidity. The wine is just ready to drink although it will better from 2022.
