Tasting Notes
The 2017 growing season delivered ample rain and replenished soils after years of drought. Ideal weather at bloom yielded vigorous vines that required extra attention to ensure balance. This attentiveness resulted in a superb vintage. This 2017 Cabernet is exceptionally full-bodied with lingering black cherry, hints of dark chocolate, and a smooth finish. It has excellent acidity and fruit expression.

Winemaking
Of all the wines produced in the Napa Valley, only about 1.3% come from the Mount Veeder Appellation, making them rare and collectible. Saint Veeder produces naturally low-yield Cab from 30-year-old vines. Grapes are hand-farmed and hand-picked. The wine is masterfully crafted by Napa Valley winemaker Jeff Fontanella.
