Full bottle 75% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir. 30% 2016 and 70% reserve wines. Base wines are fermented in oak barrels with partial malo. [...] Dosage 5 g/l.
A little smoke-and-metal tense, following the mineral-reduction line. Fruit on the back foot, this is a powerful wine defined by acidity and weight and its broad-shouldered confidence. Heavy brushed-silk texture and tiny bubbles. A bold, strong, direct full-frontal finish. Stunning richness - this will only become more beautiful with time. (TC)
