Burgundian winemaking heritage meets California's Sonoma Coast terroir in this vibrant Pinot Noir. To create the exclusive Block 1950, Legal Sea Foods worked hand-in-hand with the award-winning winemakers at DeLoach Vineyards to handcraft a wine to perfectly complement the wide variety of Legal Sea Foods' hearty seafood dishes.

Conversations with the Winemaker
The backbone of this exclusive Pinot Noir is from select vineyards on the southwesterly slopes of Sonoma Valley's Mayacamas Mountain Range, whose warm days and cool, foggy nights are ideal for the delicate Pinot Noir grape. The grapes were hand-harvested and sorted in the early morning hours to help retain the fresh, vibrant fruit. The grapes were also processed using traditional Burgundian techniques, including small, open-top fermenters, hand punch-downs, and basket pressing.

Tasting Notes
Bright red fruit aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes spring from the glass. Baked berry pie flavors are layered with a touch of spice and baker's chocolate on the savory palate, balanced by bright acidity. This is a medium-bodied wine with refreshing tannins and a finish that lingers.
