About the Vineyard
Christian Roux, the current owner of Chateau Haut d'Auriolle, has kept a simple and traditional philosophy of vine cultivation. The current vines are planted where ancestors planted them centuries ago. Christian Roux strives to respect nature by working on the soil as in the past, treating the vine as little as possible to respect it.

Vinification Methods
The harvest is done mechanically when the grape has reached optimum maturity. The vinification is traditional, limiting human intervention as much as possible. Christian Roux does not hesitate to let the grapes macerate for several weeks to allow time for the juice to extract the full potential of the grape skin in both tannin and color.

Tasting Notes
