"The ideal harvest, the ideal vintage." This is how we could summarize the 2019 vintage. Everything we wished for was fulfilled in 2019: excellent sanitary and vegetative state of the vineyard, loose bunches, well-aerated and adequate berry size.

Tasting Notes
Medium ruby color. Intense aromas of red fruit like cherry, raspberry, and plum with blackberry and licorice notes perfectly blended with subtle vanilla and cedar. Excellent acidity gives a huge freshness with intense, rounded, mature tannins. Bodied and accentuated flavors of red fruit and sweet spices. Smart and persistent finish.

Winemaking
Manual harvest. Grapes destemmed without crushing. Cold maceration and subsequent long alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Partial malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aging for 15 months in 70% French and 30% American oak barrels.

Bright cherry-red to the eye, this wine offers a bouquet of cranberry, black olive paste and rose petal. Bright on entry, it has flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, cocoa butter, eucalyptus and Turkish delight. A touch of baking spice and plush tannins carry into the enduring finish.

Spiced cherries, plums, tobacco and a meaty undertone with some black earth. A fresh and juicy Rioja with seductive berries and plums on the palate, rounded by precise, dusty tannins. Excellent length and fruit. 100% Tempranillo. Delicious now, but can hold.
