The 2019 Domaine des Sabines is plush and beautifully layered. Bright Cabernet Franc notes play off a core of black cherry fruit, blood orange, spice and mocha. Drink this succulent Lalande de Pomerol over the next decade or so.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Domaine des Sabines rolls out of the glass with notions of baked plums and blackberry preserves intermingled with charcoal, raspberry leaves, tar and unsmoked cigars. Medium-bodied, the palate offers a good amount of uncomplicated black fruits with a rugged, chewy texture and just enough freshness, finishing earthy.
